I really enjoyed Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. Charles Dickens story was very well written, although, when he explained details, lets say 3/4 of the book is that. Pip doesn't remind me of anyone, although I can relate to some of the stuff Pip goes through. Most mysteries I solved myself, although I did need spark notes to understand some details that I would not have deciphered my self.
I did read the entire book, from front to back. I usually only read at nights so I could sleep on it. Annotations were very plentiful, in fact my choir folder is covered front to back, inside and outside in annotations. I usually slept later than usual, only because reading the chapters were kind of time consuming. I got accustomed to not reading the details; to save some time, but that kind of backfired on me. I rarely skipped pages, but I know I did, so I won't lie, and I didn't annotate some chapters. Otherwise I had plenty of time to do all of my homework, and I really enjoyed the book.
