Pip is referring to the fact, that his day with Miss. Havisham's was life changing. If Pip never experienced Estella's cruel comments, I think he would have stayed a blacksmith, rather than fit in with the Gentlemanly crowd. Pip's personal view strays off on being a blacksmith when he realizes, that's not what he aspires to be. While reading, Pip begins to become gentleman to try to prove to Estella that's not what he really is.
I remember In my 7th grade class when I had this class; there was a strict teacher who was centered on quality. Having no friends in the class to be able to talk to, I was alone; that is until I met my friend Kieran. Kieran and I both come from different elementary schools, I was Roosevelt, he was Boston Harbor. Kieran and I both worked out all our problems in unison, If I would have never met Kieran in 7th grade, I think I would be very different. I'd probably be less easy going; thinking about it is very hard.
